Okinawa Day 6 – 1/4/08
We had planned to take a tour on a glass-bottomed boat this day, but when we got to the tour office, they told us it was poor visibility that day. That was a disappointment, but we appreciated their honesty!

We spent the afternoon at Amerika-mura (American Village). It was an interesting place, full of American military families and ultra-hip Japanese youngsters. There were lots of shopping places, and a beach and ferris wheel. We ate dinner at A&W, with root beer floats even, and watched some street performers. The place is known for beautiful sunsets, but not that night.
